Vultr is an American cloud provider offering virtual machines billed by the hour, with a large spread of locations worldwide. It suits people who want to spin an instance up, use it, and destroy it without a monthly commitment.

What you get

Regular Cloud Compute runs on shared CPU with SSD storage. The entry tier is IPv6 only and priced accordingly, which is fine behind a proxy or for IPv6 native work, while the ordinary plans start at 1 GB of memory and run to eight cores with 32 GB. Above that sit high frequency, dedicated CPU, bare metal and GPU instances.

Every plan includes a monthly transfer allowance, and prices shown here are the monthly equivalent of the hourly rate.
